Tarry Ho Campground Rules and Regulations

SPEED LIMIT: 5 MPH throughout the campground - Watch for children!
QUIET HOURS: 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM - If you do not comply with these quiet hours, you will be asked to leave the campground
regardless of what time of night or day it is. Voices during this time should not be heard off your site. Outside TV's and radios
must be kept at a low level. No loud music or TV is permitted. The Office/Store, Rec Hall, and Pool close at 8PM or dark.For EMERGENCY assistance after hours see the Office/Store for contact details or dial 911.

CHILDREN: Must be off the playground by dark and must be back at your site at 9:00 PM. No bicycle riding after dark.

POOL & RIVER: Children under 15 MUST be supervised by an adult (21 years or older) in the pool area. No diapers allowed
in the pool. Please read pool rules upon entering pool area. Pool closes for season Labor Day.

RIVER ACCESS: designated path located left of the rec room. Please read the river rules prior to entering.
Fishing with rod and reel is allowed in the Ammonoosuc River from Tarry Ho Campground access. NH Fishing license is needed for 16 & older and may be purchased online at www.nhfishandgame.com. We can print in office for you.

CAMPFIRES: No more than two feet high (or knee high) and must be out by midnight. Fire rings are not to be moved and fires
must be tended to at all times. Out of state wood is PROHIBITED. Only campfire wood is allowed to be burned. No lumber or
logs from campground trees should be cut or burned. Fire pits must be free of any kind of trash (ex. paper, cigarettes, trash, etc.)
Fires must not be left unattended.

CAMPSITES: Please use your assigned campsite. DO NOT SWITCH CAMPSITES without checking at office.
No setup outside of campsite. Vehicles must be on campsite, not on road. Large RV’s need the full road to get to their site. If you cannot fit, overflow parking is up front - CHECK WITH OFFICE BEFORE PARKING UP FRONT for designated area that day.

CHECK IN/ CHECK OUT:
CAMPSITE:
Check-In 1:00 PM, check-out 11:00 AM. CABINS (Bath house may be closed for cleaning sat 11am
CABIN: Check-in 2:00 PM Check-out 10:00 am. Cleaning of cabins starts at 10:00am.
There is NO SMOKING in the cabins. A cleaning $150 fee will be charged for smoking in cabin
We can accommodate late arrivals or early arrivals. Check with Office in advance.
You may leave camper or vehicle in our overflow parking for the day for a fee. See Office.

LIGHTS: ALL decorative exterior lights MUST be turned off by Quiet Time/10:30pm or site surcharge will apply.

PETS: Must be on a leash at all times. When on your site your pet(s) must be kept within the confines of your site. You must
clean up after your pets. Rabies Certificate is required upon arrival. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Pets are allowed in some cabins - inquire at time of booking. No more then 2 pets per site are allowed. Pets may not go on other unoccupied campsites.

ALCOHOL: Alcohol must be discreetly covered. Drunk and disorderly conduct will not be tolerated. Do not drive any vehicle (motorized or not) when consuming alcohol.

VISITORS: Visitors are $5/day until 8:30pm, $8/overnight (if staying after 8:30) (Max 6 people per site). Checkout is 11am

SITES: No washing dishes at outside spigot or in the bath house.Do not put nails or screws
of any kind into the trees. All grey water must be disposed of and contained properly. No cutting through campsites is allowed.
No washing of RV’s, vehicles, pets, etc is allowed. NO FIREWORKS PERMITTED ON CAMPGROUND.

PARKING: Only one vehicle allowed per site. $5/night per additional vehicle. Check office for where to park.

TRASH: Trash must be disposed of in proper receptacles. We recycle glass, plastic and aluminum.
DO NOT LEAVE OPEN TRASH ON YOUR CAMPSITE OVERNIGHT. Please place your trash and recycle materials in separate bags and place the bags in the trash shed located next to the Rec Hall. Littering is prohibited. Additional fee charged for leaving trash at site.
DO NOT THROW FOOD OR DRINK TRASH IN BATH HOUSE GARBAGE.

WIFI: Available throughout the campground. We have invested significantly so that all may have access. There are several
networks to connect to - all have different passwords. Signal is distributed from various areas around the campground so that no
one should be able to take more than a fair share. If you are requesting too much download from the system, it may disconnect
you and block your device. Please be fair in your usage so all may enjoy.

ETIQUETTE: All campers and their visitors are required to conduct themselves in a respectable manner. No cursing or
smoking is permitted in or around the Rec Hall, Office/Store, Playground or Pool. Please place all cigarette butts in the proper
receptacles.
All campers and their visitors are to respect campground property. No nails are allowed in trees. You are
responsible for reporting any unusual occurrences to management.

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS: 100% refund less $25 processing fee if cancelled up to 21 days prior to arrival. 50% refund
when cancelled 7-14 days prior to arrival. No refunds when cancelled 0-7 days prior to arrival. Deposit is one-half your total
reservation -charged upon date of booking or may be paid in full at the customer’s request. The balance will automatically be
charged 2 weeks prior to arrival. We can accept money orders/cashiers checks via mail, with notice at time reservation is made.
